Inside the Box

Samsung Galaxy A32 and its accessories

The Galaxy A32 comes with a charger, USB type C cable, a silicone case, warranty card and quick start guide manuals.

Design and Build Quality

Samsung Galaxy A32 comes with a unique and improved design. The back cover of the Samsung Galaxy A32 is plastic and glossy, and any dirt makes the back dirty and attracts prints from users’ hands it is advisable to use the silicone case provided in the box.

On the left-hand side, we have the SIM card and Micro SD card slot while on the right-hand side is the volume and power button. The base houses the charging connector, main speaker, 3.5mm audio Jack and a microphone. The top has another microphone meant for noise cancellation.

Display and Camera

Samsung Galaxy A32 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an Infinity-U notch. The screen resolution of the phone is 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz which makes scrolling smooth. The gorilla glass protects the A32 screen.

The screen display is very bright and clear when indoors but under direct sunlight, it was difficult to see clearly.

When it comes to the camera, the Galaxy A32 main camera houses a Quad 64 MP, 8 MP ultrawide, 5 MP, macro and 5 MP depth camera while the selfie camera is 20 MP wide and located at the top in a cutout notch. We could zoom the main camera up to 10 times and the picture taken was still clear.

Camera Performance

All the pictures taken with the Samsung Galaxy A32 were unedited and no filter was added. The pictures came out clear and detailed with no traces of blur.

Software

The A32 comes with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 out of the box. Apart from the 90HZ refresh rate, another highlight of the A32 is the software. The latest operating system is Android 11 and Samsung‘s One UI 3.1 interface. It makes customization options easy and smooth for use with features like dark mode, Eye care mode, and so on.

You also enjoy an amazing experience thanks to the power of the awesome Samsung Galaxy ecosystem.

Hardware Performance and Battery Life

The Samsung Galaxy A32 comes with an Octa-core chipset MediaTek Helio G80 processor and is powered with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery. The phone comes with a powerful 5,000 mAh battery that can last up to a day for high usage and up to 36 hours of moderate use.

Samsung using a 15W fast charge in 2021 wasn’t really a good one for the phone as it took longer to charge. Using the adapter and USB type C cable to charge the device, took about an hour from 57% to 100 % battery percentage.

The variant bought was the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage which can be extended with the help of a microSD card up to 1TB.

There is not much improvement when it comes to performance, using the device to set it up after an hour the back case started heating gradually. I downloaded and played “mobile legends bang bang” and the heating continued. It was really shocking and I decided to update the software. After updating the software, the problem was reduced but the heating continued. The device can be used for gaming but not for heavy gamers.

Security

The A32 unlocks with fingerprint, face detection, pattern lock or a pin. The fingerprint scanner and face unlock work perfectly without any delay.

Verdict

For a super crispy display, long-lasting battery and increased refresh rate. improved cameras and unique design, the A32 is good at that price but in 2021 we have seen way better devices launched that perform better than the A32.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 is obviously not a gaming device looking at the performance.

Lastly, only the Galaxy A52 and A72 will support software upgrades for three generations, and regular security updates for a minimum of four years. You have to consider this before buying the Samsung Galaxy A32.
