On April 25, 2025, Days Gone Remastered will be released digitally only on the PlayStation 5. According to a blog post from PlayStation, it stated that “With the help of our wonderful partners at Climax Studios, we worked to make Days Gone the best way for both new and returning players to experience the game.”
Days Gone Remastered launches and adds new content
Bend Studio gave more information about the new game modes and features as well as the first look at the remaster. With enhanced graphical fidelity, a longer foliage draw distance, better lighting and shadows, Tempest 3D Audio, VRR support, and more, the PlayStation 5 console brings Days Gone Remastered to life. Choose between Performance mode for better framerates and Quality mode for higher resolution for your preferred gaming experience. And Days Gone has never looked better on PlayStation thanks to the PS5 Pro’s extra power, the post added.
Explaining the DualSense controller support, the post added that users can make full use of the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the DualSense wireless controller to experience the intensity of Days Gone. Feel the rumble of your bike’s engine or the wheels grasping the dirt roads in your palms as you cross Broken Road. With weather haptics like rain and thunder, immerse yourself in the distinctive Pacific Northwest environment. As you battle your way through waves of Freakers, learn how different weapons from Deacon’s arsenal feel and react to different types of resistance.

Bend Studio said that more accessibility features have been added to Days Gone Remastered. High Contrast mode, Game Speed, UI Narration, Collectible Audio Cues, Controller Remapping, Field of View slider, and more are some of the new settings that it offers. We’re adding new content to play in addition to PS5 improvements for Days Gone Remastered. For the new game modes in Days Gone Remastered, trophy hunters will be able to unlock a brand-new trophy pack, the post added. Days Gone Remastered will have a new game mode at launch. A new feature is the enhanced photo mode for all virtual photographers.
Pre-order bonuses, pricing, and availability
Beginning on February 13th, both new and returning players can pre-order Days Gone Remastered to receive five early unlocks to give them a small edge when they first encounter the Broken Road in the story, as well as eight new PSN avatars that feature some of their favorite Days Gone characters at launch. For $10, gamers who already own Days Gone on the PlayStation 4 can upgrade to Days Gone Remastered, which includes all new features and content. For $49.99, new players who haven’t yet acquired Days Gone can buy Days Gone Remastered.
Days Gone Remastered PC availability
For the PC community, it will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store with all new features and content. Days Gone PC owners can get the Broken Road DLC for just $10, which includes permadeath mode, speedrun mode, new accessibility features, enhanced photo mode, horde assault (a survival arcade mode), and DualSense haptic feedback support. You need to purchase the Broken Road DLC if you don’t already have the full version of Days Gone on your PC.
