Xiaomi officially launches Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in Nigeria

Today Chinese Technology brand Xiaomi officially announced the launch of three new smartphones in Nigeria. Via an online launch event on Xiaomi official Facebook page, the company launched the Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in Nigeria. The launch started with features of the Redmi 7, 8 and 8A dual smartphones.

Redmi 9 specifications and price

Xiaomi Redmi 9 is an entry level phone that gives you more. It is designed with a brand and product promise of ‘MORE’, more performance, more battery, more speed, more display, more graphics and more of everything. 

It is said to feature a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2, 400 pixels) IPS display protected by corning gorilla glass with slpash proof. The phone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor and runs on Android 10. The Redmi 9 comes with massive 5020 mAh high capacity battery that gives more than 2 days of battery life. The battery is non-removable and supports 18W USB-C fast charging. The dual sim smartphone which comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot up to 512GB storage.

The phone comes with AI quad camera on the rear including a 13 MP primary camera, 8 MP ultra-wide angle camera, 5 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor camera. It is available in three gorgeous call with a tough and trendy circle design. The colour options are carbon grey, sunset purple and Ocean Green.

In Q1 2020, Redmi 8A was one of the top selling smartphones and the new successor is Redmi 9A with a 6.53-inch dot drop display and 5000 mAh battery with more than two days of battery life. The handset is powered by Media Tek Helio G25. It features a 13 MP AI camera and selfie camera with kaleidoscope video and palm shutter. The phone is available in three stunning colour options of peacock green, sky blue and granite gray.

Redmi 9C specifications and price

For the first time ever, Xiaomi launches Redmi 9 C a new device positioned in between the Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A. It features an AI triple camera system with a 13 MP primary camera, 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. The Redmi 9C offers a 6.53-inch display. The smartphone is powered by 5000 mAh battery and comes in three stylish colour options of midnight gray, sunrise orange and twilight blue. 

Redmi 9C (2GB RAM + 32GB storage) price is 46,900 naira while for Redmi 9C (3GB RAM + 64GB storage) the price is 53,900 naira
