Techpoint build 2020 virtual conference: list of confirmed speakers

Techpoint will host Africa and the world at Techpoint Build conference virtually for the first time on August 27 and 28, 2020. 

The flagship conference set to hold for two days will cover series of keynotes, topics and panel sessions which are important to the future of startups and technology for Africa. It is also an opportunity to network and  learn from startup founders, industry experts across Africa and the world. 

As part of the event’s pan-African essence, speakers from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and South Africa have been selected to speak on various topics:

Nekesa Were is the CEO AND COO, iHub Nairobi. She will be taking a keynote on the future of technology and the role of Africa.

Nubi Kayode

Nubi Kayode is the perations program manager at Stripe. He co-founded Nigeria’s first online takeaway site, EasyAppetite (acquired by Max Nigeria) and Travelbay. He will be speaking during a session working on global product.

Eloho (Omame) Gihan-Mbelu

She is the founding Managing Director & CEO of Endeavor Nigeria and will be speaking on a path to growth.

Eric Annan

Eric Annan, CEO of KuBitX will be speaking on Secured digital currency for Africa’s future.

Amadou Daffe

Amadou Daffe is the CEO and Co-founder of Gebeya. He will be speaking on the panel a path to scale.

Adegoke Olubisi

Adegoke Olubisi, Co-founder and CEO Helium Health will be speaking on raising capital during COVID-19.

Andrew Watkins-Ball

Andrew is the Group Founder and CEO, Jumo World. He will be speaking on raising capital during COVID-19.

Tayo Oviosu

Tayo is the Founder and Group CEO of Paga. He is also the co-founder of Kaiors Angels and will be speaking on a path to scale.

Titi Akinsanmi

Titi is a digital policy expert working as Public policy lead, West and francophone Africa at Google. She will be speaking on how policy can influence future technology in Africa.

Seni Sulyman

He is a venture builder and immediate past vice president Global operations, Andela and will be speaking on a path to growth.

Ernest Obi

Ernest Obi is the head of global sales at Flutterwave. He will be speaking on the panel a path to scale.

Joel ‘Kachi Benson

Joel ‘Kachi Benson is the founder of VR360 Stories. He also manages JB Multimedia Studios and will be holding a single panel interview on using technology to tell stories.

Liz Mastors

Liz Mastors is the chief of staff to the CEO at Apollo Agriculture. She will be speaking on raising capital during COVID-19.

Marius Reitz

Marius Reitz from South Africa is the General Manager Africa operations Luno money. She will also be speaking on Secured digital currency for Africa’s future.

Wiza Jalakasi

The head of global business development and strategy at Hover Developer Services, Inc. He will be speaking on building products with African design.

Yele Bademositechpoint build is the largest tech conference

Yele Bademosi, CEO Bundle Africa and founder Micro traction and former director at Binance Labs will be speaking on Secured digital currency for Africa’s future.

Victor chima

Victor chima is the engineering manager at Spotify. He will be speaking on working on global products.

Dolapo Omidire

Techpoint will host Africa and the world at Techpoint Build conference virtually for the first time On August 27 and 28, 2020. 

Dolapo Omidire is the founder and team lead at Estate Intel. He is also the immediate past winner of Pitch Storm at 2019 Techpoint Build, and will be sharing the journey and experience learnt so far.

Techpoint Build 2020 the largets tech conference in Africa will be held on 27th and 28th this month August. Attendance is free.
